The Henlow 10 is organised by the Royal Air Force and run as their 10m championship. Non-RAF runners are also allowed to compete. The Harriers did particularly well this year. Kevin Willett was the 7th to finish overall and the 1st civilian. On a hilly course, Kevin's time of 58:54 was a pb by some around six seconds. Kerry Hamlin who has recently joined us, also did well. Kerry was the 3rd lady overall and the 2nd lady civilian in a new pb of 67:11. It was the fastest 10m time by a lady Harrier this year. Also running a new pb was Sophie Howman. Sophie's last 10m was at Swineshead in September when she ran 79:14. Her Henlow time of 74:42 was a 4 mins 32 secs improvement on that. Well done also to Ken Toye (77:54) and Nora Haggart (99:36) who ran their first 10m races for the club.
