Andy Sewell  and  Matt Burgin picked the hottest weekend of the year to run in the 62 miles Trailwalker UK, which is Oxfam's biggest annual fundraising event. Andy, Matt and around 1,700 other people set off from the start point, near Petersfield, on Saturday morning to follow the South Downs Way to Brighton.  Each team of four ran or walked the 100km or 62 miles, mostly non-stop, to the finish at Brighton Racecourse. 

403 teams started; not all teams finished due to the heat etc. Matt & Andy's team, 'Mad Dogs', came 15th overall; and 3rd (yes, 3rd!!) as fastest Vets team. Total time = 17:29:50.
