British Duathlon Championships

I did this event 3 years ago and was 3rd in my age category.  Now at the 'wrong end' of the 55-59 category I knew it was going to be tough - and it was!   cold, wet and miserable on the bike leg and the run route was an out and back loop with a short sharp hill and a long drag (twice).  Once again I lost about 2 minutes on most others around me in transition.  Clumber Park in Sherwood Forest is very picturesque, at least I'm sure it is on a nice sunny spring or summer day!
 
Eimear Mullen, who now competes for Team MK won the Ladies race in an incredible 1hr 59.34 and cementing her position as an elite
