The Parkrun 'movement' is nothing short of a self-invented marvel!
Multi-purpose, with no frills, fees, forms or awards to bother with, and
available to everyone, even walkers as long as they can get round in under 50
minutes. Hove Park is a hugely popular Parkrun venue and offers a smooth
tarmic circuit, like Bedford Park with about 2.5 laps to make up the 5k
distance. With quite a few joggers proceeding at around my pace, some even
with dogs, there was no shortage of cheerful company. With Hove Park being
quite hilly and the organisation pleasantly laidback, a fast level walk round
Bedford Park, no doubt with immaculate organisation, seems very inviting.
