I think I’ll stick to the 5k next
year, this was more like a trail race as more than 50% of it was on grass
and gravel. It was very hard to get going at the start, trying to weave
in and out of all the walkers and joggers. The worst part was when the
10k filtered back into the 5k, trying to finish with any kind of sprint
was impossible. Now I’ve had my moan, I still enjoyed myself especially
the great marshalls and support from Sarah Wanden and her sister, Bill,
Norman, David and Judy Prior and Pauline Bambury.
