This old timer enjoyed this old time event - no sponsor, no PA, no T-shirt, no chips (even in Blackpool!), and an entry fee of only £8. Given the flat course along the traffic-free prom and the fine windless weather I had high hopes of beating my Lake District times and was not disappointed. A long prize list and a free air show definitely puts this event in my highly-recommended category. |
