London 10k

I had the misfortune to do the Asics British 10k on Sunday.  If I hadn't been raising money in memory of my dad for the charity he started I wouldn't have bothered.  Harriers’ organisation knocks this into a cocked hat.  It took me 1 hour 3 mins to reach the start line and when I crossed the finish line my gun to finish line time was 2 hours 9 mins 27 secs.  I could have had chip timing if I'd have coughed up an additional £5.90.  Anyway my time was 1 hour 5 mins 55 secs.  If anyone has the urge to do this run lie down until the feeling goes away.
