This race series offers participants 4 distances to choose from (10k, half
marathon, marathon or ultra) but don't expect them to be accurate!
Terrain is 'sand, rock and grass' (and steps, mud and cliffs) You have to
carry food, 750ml drink, emergency blanket, waterproofs, first-aid kit and
mobile although there is some food and water at the checkpoints along the
way. The idea is to send you off on a grand tour of the area, which for
us it included the coast path and running along spectacular beaches like
Oxwich and Rhossili Bay. The 'half' saw 2,400' of climb, the marathon
3,600'. Thankfully the weather was almost perfect (especially for
November), If you like the Grizzly then you'll like these races too!
