I would like to say a huge thank you on behalf of the Sue Ryder St Johns Hospice and myself for the tremendous support of the Bedford Harriers today at the 13th Biddenham River Run. The race organisation was a collaborative effort with volunteers from Sue Ryder, Bedford Lions, Bedford Harriers, Beds and County, Biddenham villagers and quite a few others. We had 290 complete the 10k race, 42 of whom were Bedford Harriers. For the 4k Fun Run we had 41 complete the race of whom 2 were Bedford Harriers. The day seemed to go really smoothly, the weather held off and I received quite a few compliments on the marshals. When all the accounting is done we should have raised a significant amount for the hospice.
