Balma 10k

The May Day 10K at Balma, a suburb of Toulouse, is on a fast course on flat straight closed roads and is a qualifying event for the French National Championship. It has previously boasted sub-30 minute winners but this year the winning time was 'only' 30:46 probably because of the strong warm wind.

However, even allowing for the wind, my efforts to reverse the aging process failed badly and I finished in a disappointing 40:49. 3rd place in the MV3 category was rewarded with a cup, a tee shirt, a drinking bottle and kisses.
