Two Harriers team - one ladies - one men -took part in the 2009 Round Norfolk Relay. The relay consists of 17 stages ranging from 5.39 miles to 19.67 miles and includes both multi-terrain and off road stages. The total distance run is 193.79miles.  A record number of 55 teams took part in the race.

The ladies team started at 6.30am and finished  in an overall time of 27 hours 27 mins and 58 secs. Among the many good performances, Veronica Singleton and Marianne Williamson  were the 2nd fastest ladies in their stages and Sarah Lee and Nora Haggart were the 4th fastest ladies in their stages. Pauline Bambury ran the 31st fastest stage in the race overall on an age graded basis. The harriers ladies finished in 48th position overall and were the 4th ladies team.

The mens team started at 9.00am and finished in a time of 24 hours30 mins and 42 seconds. Kevin Willett was the 4th man to finish in his stage and Bob Wells ran the fastest leg by age grading in his stage and also produced the 5th fastest time overall on an age graded basis. The mens team finished in 14th position in the race.
