Two new club best times plus loads of pb's were set at the Silverstone 10k. The two club best times were by Veronica Singleton whose 41:26 was a 2 secs improvement on the previous LV40 best of 41:28 which was also set by Veronica and Silverstone in 2003 and by Deirdre Bethune whose time of 48:40 was a new LV55 best by 1 mins 58 secs. The previous LV55 best of 50:38 was set by Jackie Keenan at Flitwick in April.
The first Harrier to finish was Sean Newbury in what may have been a new pb of 36:10. The second Harrier was Stuart Bartlett in 36:37 (might also have been a pb) and the third was Mark Francis in 39:25 which was definitely a new pb and Mark's first time under 40 mins.
Among the other Harriers getting pb's were Gary Denton (44:00) who ran his 1st 10k for five years, Mark Ingledew (44:36), Paul Raymond (44:43), David Gallagher (47:20), Janet Lehain (47:37) and Judith Ingledew (51:08).
